About the Jersey
1997-98 Bowling Green State University
Home CCM Knit, Size 54, CCHA Patch

Jersey shows light to moderate use with nice board burns and puck/stick marks. As a youngster, Newman showed flashes of brilliance as a member of some of the greatest youth teams to ever play out of the Chicagoland area. These teams included the likes of Joe Corvo, Bubba Berenzweig, Jeff Dessner, and a number of other fantastic players who would go on to play at the Division I level or higher. While battling a recurring shoulder injury, Newman walked on as a freshman at Bowling Green State University, where he would eventually receive a full ride scholarship by his senior year. Despite only appearing in 40 games at the collegiate level, Brad was a fan favorite at BGSU and would have undoubtedly had a far more successful hockey career had he not had the misfortune of playing for one of the worst coaches in CCHA history. Newman is not only my closest friend, but one of the most motivated and driven people I've ever met. Brad currently resides in Los Angeles where he is President and CEO of www.aromahand.com, and also coaches alongside Nelson Emerson and Daryl Evans, in the L.A. Junior Kings Hockey Association.
