16 Jeff Dessner

About the Jersey
2000-01 University of Wisconsin
Road Reebok Mesh, Size 56, WCHA Patch

Jersey shows light to moderate use with evidence of washings, number fraying, a great 3 inch sleeve repair, Captain's "C" sewn onto chest. Like Bubba Berenzweig, Jeff Dessner's reputation as a great hockey player preceded him very early on. Dessner was a member of the same youth teams in Chicago that developed defensemen Joe Corvo, Bubba Berenzweig, and Sean Molina. With 4 defensemen that would all go on to play professional hockey, it's easy to understand why their teams didn't lose very often. Following a few years of prep school hockey in New England, Dessner was drafted by the New York Rangers. Jeff then went on to play 4 years at the University of Wisconsin, prior to going on to a brief but successful professional career within the Atlanta Thrashers minor league system. Dessy is a longtime friend, and one of the great personalities of the hockey world both on and off the ice.
