Moderate use with many board burns, puck/stick marks, various stains, original nameplate still attached. Jersey shows surprisingly good use although Joe only played 9 games as an Admiral. With a wicked shot from the point, and excellent hands, vision, and skating ability, Corvo is developing into one of the NHL's premier offensive defensemen. Corvo was a member of the same youth teams in Chicago that developed defensemen Jeff Dessner, Bubba Berenzweig, and Sean Molina.

Joseph Corvo was born June 20, 1977 in Oak Park, Illinois. The 4th choice, 83rd overall selection of the Los Angeles Kings in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Corvo is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he played two seasons before joining the AHL's Springfield Falcons in 1998-99.

The steady defenseman from Illinois did not play in 99-2000, returning to the ice only the following year as a member of the AHL's Lowell Loch Monsters. Following only one season in Lowell, Corvo joined the Kings AHL affiliate in Manchester where he finished second in team scoring with 50 points (13-37-50).

The 2002-03 season marked Corvo's NHL debut with the Kings. The young rearguard saw action in 50 games with the club, tallying 12 points (5-7-12), before more than doubling his point totals in 2003-04.
