About the Jersey
2002-03 Ottawa Senators
3rd Alternate KOHO Air-Knit, Size 58, Set 2
NHL-MGG No. A05650

Heavy overall wear with at least 13 sleeve repairs, a few more repairs on the front and back, nice board burns, and blue paint transfer on the sleeve. Awesome piece from this former Selke Award Finalist!

Drafted 119th overall by the Ottawa Senators at the age of 25, Magnus Arvedson joined the Senators after four years of hockey in the Swedish Elite league. He won a silver medal with the national team in 1997 at the World Championships, and and joined the Senators that fall.

He had a decent rookie season, but the following year, 1998-99, scored 21 goals and was a +33, proving himself a worthy addition. In 2000-01, he missed some 31 games with injury, before returning stronger in 2001-02.

Arvedson went on to play six seasons with the Senators, before signing as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks in the summer of 2003. Upon his arrival with the Canucks, Arvedson went on to play a mere 41 games with the club during the 2003-04 season, recovering from a knee injury.

Aside from his World Championship experience in 1997, Arvedson represented his homeland at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
