9 Mark Bell

About the Jersey
2000-01 Norfolk Admirals
Road SP Knit, Size 56, 2 AHL Patches, Chicago Tomahawk Patch, STIHL Patch

This jersey is pounded with great board burns, puck/stick marks, unrepaired holes, and multiple repairs. The left shoulder was partially torn off during a fight and has been beautifully repaired. This is the first jersey Bell ever wore as a professional, and most likely only one of two ever worn as a pro outside his career as a Chicago Blackhawk. Incredible jersey!

A native of St. Paul's, Ontario, the big centre idolized Mike Craig growing up. Mark Bell made his mark during four seasons with the Ottawa 67s, and was part of a Memorial Cup championship in 1998-99.

A bronze medalist with Team Canada at the 2000 World Junior championship, Bell was thrilled to become the first choice, eighth overall selection of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. After four seasons in the OHL, Bell jumped to the pro ranks in 2000-2001, playing with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL as well as 13 games with the Hawks.

Born August 5, 1980, Bell became a full-time Hawk in 2001-2002 and has become one of the club's more durable and reliable players.
